Check out the non-spoiler preview for tonight’s episode of WWE NXT.

More from NXT

Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT will be the last one before tomorrow’s fresh batch of tapings, which will begin airing next week. This is very much needed. While the content is new to us, it was shot back in February with all the matches being mixed into different episodes. The commentary team also has recorded their voices over the show because of the mixing and matching of segments.

Tonight’s episode should be a fun one, though. Plenty of top talent will be in action, and some of the matches may impact the next NXT TakeOver live special.

Check out the matches that are scheduled for tonight:

  • Finn Balor vs. Tye Dillinger
  • #1 Contender’s Match for the NXT Women’s Championship
Bayley vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte
  • Hideo Itami vs. CJ Parker
  • Kevin Owens vs. Alex Riley

Balor over Dillinger is a given here.

It also turns out that last week was not the last filmed match for Parker in WWE NXT. With this being the end of the matches from February’s taping, this will be his final appearance in Full Sail University. We’ll see how he goes out in this one.

The #1 contender’s match between Bayley, Becky Lynch and Charlotte should be a fun one. It’s also likely that the winner of this could face Sasha Banks at the next NXT TakeOver live special.

The favorite for the match should be Lynch. Charlotte seems to be on her way to the main roster soon and has had a ton of matches with Banks already. Bayley’s time still doesn’t seem to be here, yet. That leaves Lynch, who has been in an alliance with the NXT Women’s Champion since last year. The story of Team Bae splitting up and facing each other would make the most sense to do. Who becomes the babyface in this remains to be seen.

Finally, there’s the latest installment of Kevin Owens vs. Alex Riley. Barring a miracle, there isn’t much hope for the former Analyst to win this match. Owens is going to run through Riley and go onto hilariously mock him on Twitter like he’s been doing for months.

So, with all this in mind, are you looking forward to tonight’s episode of WWE NXT?
