WWE Raw Review: Build to SummerSlam

Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Sheamus

Result: Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton defeat Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Sheamus via pinfall.

Rating: 2.8 out of 5 stars

Ambrose and Harper started this match. Ambrose began with a take down and tossed Harper over the ropes before things broke down quickly. Ambrose then hit a flying elbow on the heels as we went to break.

We come back to see Reigns and Sheamus battling. Reigns hit a right hand and threw him out of the ring. The two then continued to trade punches going back into the ring.

Reigns and Harper then battled until the former Shield man hit a suplex and brought in Ambrose. He hit a dropkick and threw some punches. Harper would hit a dropkick of his own, though, and bring in Wyatt.

Wyatt would take over with a big right hand on Ambrose as we went to another break.

We come back to see Wyatt in control with a big clothesline, then tagging in Harper. Ambrose would hit a slam but miss a tag on Reigns after he got kicked. Ambrose then crawled for the hot tag on Orton.

Orton hit a few clotheslines and a powerslam on Wyatt. He then hit a DDT and attempted an RKO but got taken out by Harper. Ambrose would take out Harper but get hit with a big boot on the outside. Reigns would assist with a clothesline of his own.

Orton then tagged in Reigns, who went after Sheamus. He hit a Samoan Drop and multiple punches. He then hit a dropkick on Wyatt on the outside.

Reigns connected with a Superman Punch on Wyatt but almost got rolled up by Sheamus. He hit another one on Sheamus but got taken out by Harper, who got hit by Ambrose with a clothesline. Orton then hit an RKO on Wyatt and Reigns speared Sheamus for the win.

Rob’s Note: Very fun match to put over these SummerSlam feuds. These matches should be made on next week’s Raw or sometime this week.
