Paige’s Next Role in the WWE Divas Revolution
By Todd Boyer
Since before WrestleMania, Paige has tried to take down the Bella twins, and more importantly beat Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship.

After months of torment from Nikki and Brie Bella, while trying to win the WWE Divas Championship, Paige called for a Divas Revolution. What followed was all out Divas brawl; after Paige called for a revolution, Stephanie McMahon announced the main roster debuts of former NXT Women’s champions Charlotte and Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch. Charlotte and Lynch teamed up with Paige, culminating in an all out Divas brawl.
The brawl led to Divas triple threat match at Battleground between Charlotte (Team PCB), Brie Bella (Team Bella), and Sasha Banks just six-day after the “Revolution,” in which Charlotte won by making Brie Bella submit to the Figure 8 leg lock.

Following the first ever Divas beat the clock challenge, Charlotte earned a one on one Divas title shot against Nikki Bella at Night of Champions, where Charlotte earned her first Divas Championship, ending Bella’s 301 day reign.
On the following night on Monday Night Raw, Team PCB, with Ric Flair, celebrated Charlotte’s first reign as Divas champion, but what happened next was one of the biggest pipe bombs since A.J. Lee’s pipe bombshell in 2013.
But all did not seem lost heading into the Raw before WWE Live from Madison Square Garden, as Team PCB regrouped to fight the common enemy, Team Bella at MSG.
During the six women tag team match, Team PCB versus Team Bella, at MSG, Paige did more harm than good, as Paige tagged herself in while Charlotte was setting up the Figure 8 leg lock on Nikki Bella. Bella proceeded to pin Paige, following Charlotte and Becky denying Paige a tag-in and a rack attack from Bella.
So the real question is, what is next for Team PCB and the Divas Revolution? First scenario could lead to a Divas triple threat match a Hell in a Cell between Charlotte, Paige, and Nikki Bella in a Divas Championship match.
The second scenario is a little more obscure. Since the Raw following Night of Champions, Paige has claimed that she started the Divas Revolution back in late July, and then seven days later Nikki Bella claimed that she was the diva that started the Divas Revolution. What everybody seems to forget, neither Paige nor Bella started the Divas Revolution, one woman and woman only, Stephanie McMahon started the revolution. The second scenario could lead to another possible triple threat match at Hell in a Cell, a match between Bella, Paige, and McMahon to put a silence to who started the Divas Revolution.
Whether Paige started the Divas Revolution or not, her days with Team PCB are numbered. Personally, I feel that Divas Revolution has made the Divas division and current storyline one of the more entertaining storylines at the moment.
