1. He Can Still Deliver the Game Changer

Throughout his entire career, “Da Man” has been known for unleashing two of the most devastating moves in wrestling history. The Jackhammer; his infamous finisher, has helped Goldberg defeat some of the greatest superstars in history. It’s the move that earned him all three of his world championships, and it was the final part in his destructive two-part attack. The set-up to his finisher was the spear, which Goldberg often delivered with such ferocity and power that he would break his opponents in half.

When Brock Lesnar went into Survivor Series, there’s no doubt that he didn’t perceive his opponent as that big of a threat. Then came the time for him to step into the ring with Goldberg, and one spear changed everything. Another one left Lesnar struggling for air, allowing Goldberg to hit the Jackhammer to earn a decisive victory. In just eighty-six seconds, Lesnar had aura had gone from untouchable to vulnerable.

No matter how hard Brock Lesnar trains for his upcoming match, he won’t last long should Goldberg make good use of the spear. That means he can’t go toe to toe with his opponent right away, and instead he needs to draw the match longer than he normally would. It sounds possible in theory, but as of this writing, Goldberg’s has only spent last than two minutes competing in singles matches. Nothing stops the Universal Champion when he is intent on achieving something, and that’s something Brock Lesnar is going to learn come WrestleMania 33.
