Goldberg got his WWE Universal Championship moment at Fastlane, defeating Kevin Owens in one minute less than Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. It made him look unstoppable. At some point, however, that’s going to end.

The former WCW star is a good bet to leave after WrestleMania, rumors or not. He’s pretty much done it all since coming back, main eventing two PPVs, winning a title, being in the Royal Rumble match and potentially headlining the biggest show of the year. Also, would he really stick around for the shows in between now and SummerSlam? Probably not because they’re just not as important, at least in the eyes of WWE. That could mean he returns, but at a later date.
With Goldberg going and Lesnar still having one year left on his WWE contract, that should make this far too obvious. Even though we’ve been through a part-time reign of the Beast Incarnate’s before, he’s still a top star for WWE and someone who they’re paying a ridiculous sum. So the company could look to get the return on their investment again by making him the champion of Raw.

If this result is so obvious, does it mean WWE will keep it as the main event? Or will Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton close things out?
