1. The Future Continues To Build

A common complaint of the past few WrestleMania’s has been WWE’s use of part-time stars. To some, those that are on the road a majority of the year are more deserving of a main event spot as opposed to superstars such as Brock Lesnar or Goldberg. Seeing as how this year the Universal Championship match features part-time stars, WWE may fear fans revolting at the match. The company cannot afford a similar reaction to the one these two received at WrestleMania 20. Yes, the circumstances were vastly different, but it’s always difficult to predict how a crowd will react.

More from WrestleMania

To attempt and avoid any disgruntled fans, the creative team may decide to keep an eye towards the future. As of this writing, Finn Balor has yet to make his return to Monday Night Raw. Imagine the impact that would be felt if the Demon King decided to interrupt a match that may be the main event of WrestleMania. Not only could it mark a historic night, but fans would no doubt become ecstatic at the return. Before his untimely injury back in August, Balor was arguably the most over performer on Raw. That’s an incredibly feat, especially when you consider he had only been on the main roster for a month.

Should Balor choose WrestleMania as the location for his return, it would immediately insert him back to the main event.Since his interference would no doubt cause a no contest, the situation would allow for a triple threat match down the road. That is a match I’m sure a lot of people would love to see.
