WWE: 5 dream matches for WrestleMania 36

Bayley (c) vs. Sasha Banks – SmackDown Women’s Championship

If you had asked me about to talk about this match about two, maybe three weeks ago, I would have said that this was more of a lock for WrestleMania rather than a dream match. However, with new reports suggesting that Sasha Banks is out with an injury, it puts this match in jeopardy.

Which would be such a shame, to be honest. Despite constant teasing over the years, we never got a proper feud or one-on-one match between Sasha Banks and Bayley on the main roster since they tore the house down at two TakeOvers in NXT.

That was almost five years ago. We are overdue for Bayley vs. Sasha Banks on a big stage and I think WWE know that. Hence why throughout the last few months, ever since The Boss came back from her hiatus, little subtle seeds have been planted between herself and the SmackDown Women’s Championship to cement a future rivalry.

Should Banks be healthy enough to compete in time for Mania, this is the title match that absolutely needs to happen. Not only does it need to happen, but it is destined to steal the show just like they did in 2015 NXT.
