Former WWE Star Aleister Black made his debut at the Road Rager edition of AEW Dynamite. The debut of Black was shocking because he was released by WWE not that long ago. When it comes to storytelling and details, AEW is one of the best wrestling promotions when it comes to that. Expect that to continue as the angles develop for Malakai Black in the future. In this article, I will be discussing the five matches Malakai Black should have now that he is in AEW.

Darby Allin

Black VS. Allin is a match that AEW could easily do because both wrestlers play dark characters who at some point have to cross paths now that Black is in AEW. When it comes to selling moves, Darby Allin is one of the best wrestlers to sell activities. The former TNT champion’s reckless and never-die style would work well against an opponent like Black because he would make Black kicks look like fans were watching a UFC match. Darby Allin is the type of wrestler that fans will always cheer for, no matter how many times his opponent beats him down. Black vs. Allin is the match that AEW should give fans before 2021 ends.

Jon Moxley

When Jon Moxley left WWE for AEW in spring 2019, it was a game-changer in the world of professional wrestling because he was the main event guy for WWE. If Malakai Black and Moxley were to get in the ring with each other, the AEW fans would be able to see a dream match between two former WWE guys who weren’t being used to their full potential. AEW could create a story of Moxley wanting to go against someone considered dangerous as himself.

Pac

When it comes to wrestlers in AEW that should be world champion in the next year, PAC is someone who comes to mind for me. Pac has had many great matches in AEW that has shown fans he is the perfect hybrid wrestler because he mixes hard-hitting wrestling and high-flying wrestling. This is a match that could steal the show on any episode of Dynamite, but AEW should save this feud for a Pay-Per-View match as it has the potential to not only steal the show but give a glimpse at two future champions.

Cody

We will see this match soon because Malakai Black made sure to let Cody know that he has arrived in AEW in his debut. This match shouldn’t be a throwaway feud because both wrestlers need a long-term rivalry that has a big payoff for both men. Rhodes is one of the most popular wrestlers in AEW, and he needs the right heel wrestler to stand across in the ring. Cody has become AEW’s go-to guy to help get wrestlers, such as Brody Lee, Lance Archer, and Darby Allin.

Kenny Omega

Malakai Black deserves to be at the top in professional wrestling because he is that good. He brings a unique presence with him that sets him apart from every other wrestler in AEW. Black and Kenny Omega is a dream match for wrestling fans because of the type of match both wrestlers would have. This would be a hard-hitting match that would have any crowd standing up on their feet. AEW should save this match for after Omega loses the world title because Black shouldn’t become another victim to Omega title reign. Kenny Omega has become the best wrestler in professional wrestling and should still be treated like that even when he loses the world title. A babyface Kenny Omega vs. a heel Malakai Black could be a big money-making feud for AEW that should be build up nice and slow.

Malakai Black is going to be one of the biggest talking points in professional wrestling. As AEW continues to ramp up now that they are back on tour and heading into AEW All Out, expect to see much more of him in the future.
