So how does the Daily DDT staff think this SummerSlam match will go down? Find out below:
Brandon’s Prediction:
This feud seems like it will go further than Summerslam, so I’m picking the heel team to pick up the victory in the first match.
Prediction: Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper
Callum’s Prediction:
Part of me is not looking forward to this tag team battle simply for the expected conclusion. With rumors persisting that Dean Ambrose will be turning heel for the finish, I’m finding it hard to take any interest in the contest itself. It should be extremely physical, with the chemistry between Roman Reigns and Luke Harper exceptional in recent weeks. However, in the belief WWE will commit to the rumored finish, handing the Wyatt Family a win in the process.
Prediction: Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper
Evan G’s Prediction:
There have been lots of rumors around a potential Ambrose or Reigns heel turn at the event, costing the other the match. However I don’t see that happening. Instead, I see the former Shield members standing together and getting some revenge on the Wyatts for their actions at Battleground.
Prediction: Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns
Evan W’s Prediction:
This is the can’t miss match of the night. These two factions, in whatever iteration, always put on a good show. Usually Ambrose only looks good against Rollin, but his matches with the Wyatts are also wacky and fun. Roman will shine time and again, but Harper is the dark horse.
Prediction: Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper
Jordan’s Prediction:
This match is my candidate to steal the show. These two factions have had great matches before and that trend continues on Sunday. The twist is that Reigns will turn on Ambrose thus costing them the victory.
Prediction: Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper
Rob’s Prediction:
I see Wyatt and Harper winning this. Something is going to happen between Ambrose and Reigns, whether it’s teased tension or a heel turn. This heel turn could set up the triple threat at WrestleMania between the three former Shield members that everyone has clamored for.
Prediction: Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper
Sherron’s Prediction:
Prediction: Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper
Teddy’s Prediction:
Reigns or Ambrose has to turn heel here, right? The more likely choice would be Ambrose, but I don’t know if WWE goes down that path just yet. I’m going with Reigns and Ambrose picking up the win with no heel turns.
Prediction: Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns
It looks like we’re at 6-2 with Wyatt and Harper defeating Ambrose and Reigns. Who do you think wins this SummerSlam match?
