The Prime Time Players will defend their WWE Tag Team Championship against New Day, Los Matadores and Lucha Dragons at WWE SummerSlam.
The build for this match began when every team started picking up wins over each other. Other than that, there’s nothing of significance to note.

So how does the Daily DDT staff think this SummerSlam match will go down? Find out below:
Brandon’s Prediction:
With all the good publicity WWE is getting with the titles on Young and O’Neill, I don’t see them dropping the belts just yet.
Prediction: Prime Time Players
Callum’s Prediction:
I really could care less about this Tag Team Championship match, which seemingly puts me in the same boat as WWE’s creative team. A fatal four-way is incredibly lazy booking, and will only attract any interest if one of the teams is eliminated and replaced by a debuting Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady. I would really like to see that possibility and have them walk out with the titles, but my logical side sees the Prime Time Players retaining.
Prediction: Prime Time Players
Evan G’s Prediction:
There is no real story behind this match-up, but instead was given the Wrestlemania treatment where all the teams were just added to the match to get on the card. The PrimeTime Players have been serviceable champions, but NEW, DAY ROCKS.
Prediction: New Day
Evan W’s Prediction:
Sorry, I was typing so many tag teams I just thought the match would keep going. Whenever more than two teams are involved in a title match, the idea of only two teams agreeing to fight at one time never sat well with me. I expect lots of melees, hot tags, ringside shenanigans and clapping. In the end, the Brooklyn audience will be elated about tomorrow being a New Day!
Prediction: New Day
Jordan’s Prediction:
The New Day should be the Tag-Team champions but Prime Time Players simply have too much good PR right now.
Prediction: Prime Time Players
Rob’s Prediction:
As much as New Day should be holding the belts (they should have never lost them at Money in the Bank), I can’t see them regaining them at SummerSlam. PTP garners too much positive publicity for WWE to get the belts off them. They’ll be champions for awhile.
Prediction: Prime Time Players
Sherron’s Prediction:
Prediction: New Day
Teddy’s Prediction:
This is the perfect match for The New Day to win the Tag Team titles back, which they will. The Prime Time Players will be protected as they will not be pinned or submitted in defeat to lose the straps.
Prediction: New Day
It looks like we’re at 4-4 with PTP and New Day getting 4 votes each. Who do you think wins this SummerSlam match?
