WWE SummerSlam 2015 Predictions: Randy Orton vs. Sheamus

Randy Orton and Sheamus will face off yet again at WWE SummerSlam. Check out who the Daily DDT staff thinks will win.

Sheamus and Randy Orton will collide in a match at SummerSlam. They faced off at WWE Battleground and twice before WWE Money in the Bank.

The build for this began before MITB when Sheamus and Orton exchanged DQ’s on back to back weeks of Raw. Orton then won their match at Battleground clean. Many question why we’re having this match at SummerSlam because of this.

Brandon’s Prediction:

This rivalry has gone on for far too long, so I’m picking Sheamus simply because Orton won last time.

Prediction: Sheamus

Callum’s Prediction:

An unlikely candidate to win match of the night, Randy Orton and Sheamus have been dragging out this meaningless feud for far too long. However, there is a means of salvaging it, and that is to have the Irishman walk out decisively victorious over his serpentine rival. Sheamus is the Money in the Bank holder, and desperately needs important wins to keep up his momentum and make him look strong before he potentially cashes in to become WWE Champion.

Prediction: Sheamus

Evan G’s Prediction:

It feels like round 273 between these two, so it’s a toss up who wins. It landed heads, so I’ll go with the one with the dumb hair on his.

Prediction: Sheamus

Evan W’s Prediction:

It’s not official, but it’s happening and someone’s getting nailed with a briefcase. Maybe the new Mega Powers will run in and clear the ring? Sorry, brother. Curtis Axel still has a rumble to win.

Prediction: Sheamus

Jordan’s Prediction:

Yawn…does this match really matter? WWE wants to peg Sheamus as the next top heel, he gets the win.

Prediction: Sheamus

Rob’s Prediction:

I’ll give the win to Sheamus but who cares?

Prediction: Sheamus

Teddy’s Prediction:

Just what we all wanted, another Randy Orton vs. Sheamus match! OK not really, but I’m going to make this short and sweet (hopefully like their match). Sheamus wins to get revenge from the Battleground loss to Orton.

Prediction: Sheamus
