The Usos vs. The Revival

Dawson and Jimmy lockup in the corner to start. Then into the ropes until Dawson gets a headlock before shoulder blocking Jimmy. Dawson leapfrogs under Jimmy before getting chop blocked, then uppercutted. Tag to Jey for an assisted forearm splash in the corner for a one count.

Jey wrenches the arm, but Dawson grips the hair before tagging Wilder. Assisted rope suplex before a springboard elbow drop for a two count. Another tag to Dawson as they pound on Jey in the corner. Dawson lifts Jey off the ground by his beard, then drives him head first back into the mat before a series of leg drops.

Nap time. Oops, I mean rest hold time. Same thing, right?

Jey struggles to fight out of the hold, but finds an opening after reversing a suplex and kicking Dawson in the face. Hot tag to both partners and Jimmy comes back like a house of fire.

Top rope crossbody for a two count by Jimmy. Superkick reversed. Dawson holds onto Wilder to avoid an O’Connor Roll. But Jimmy tags back to Jey to hit a double superkick on Wilder. Simultaneous suicide dive and Uso Splash on the Revival for the win.

Winners: Usos

Grade: C

Acceptable match. It’s fine. Short, sweet and practically flawless, if not by the book tag match. Two teams with good chemistry have a good match. Shocking, right?

The Revival complain backstage in an interview, talking about how the company doesn’t care about them. And because we don’t care about The Revival, the camera moves away from the interview to a brawl pitting Sasha Banks and Bayley against Lacey Evans. When it settles, Banks seems to have injured her knee.

Elsewhere, Sonya Deville asks Mandy Rose to get Otis to be ringside for her match, assuming Rose is using him to help them win their matches. Rose doesn’t know what Deville is talking about, but she begrudglingly agrees to ask him.

Elsewhere, again, Banks is in the medic’s office having her knee examined. Legit WWE Producer Adam Pearce comes in to tell them that because Banks vs. Evans has been promoted for two weeks straight and failed to deliver, the match will happen next with Bayley taking Banks’ place.
